Manufacturing in Manchester, Connecticut makes Manchester an ideal industrial community. As a historic industrialized city, there are many factories that were common in the last century. However, with the progress of industrial design, many factories were abandoned, resulting in the abandonment of many factories, such as the site of this project, Union Pond Mill. On this basis, the abandoned factory was used as a place for graffiti by many young people, and the current site is full of artistic atmosphere on the abandoned basis. The new renovation and expansion project will retain many local historical, cultural and artistic atmospheres, while incorporating some missing community functions to form a comprehensive community center.
