The project proposes the development of innovative Add-Ons for existing buildings and sites in select cities in the United States, particularly focusing on San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston from Texas, where the housing crisis is at its epicenter. These Add-Ons will efficiently address the urgent housing needs of these rapidly growing urban centers. Leveraging the booming labor markets and low housing inventory in these cities, the project aims to design and construct parametric architectural components that not only provide structurally efficient solutions but also enable swift and cost-effective construction. By responding to the critical shortage of available homes and the sustained growth in housing demand, this initiative aligns with the current housing market dynamics and contributes to mitigating the ongoing housing crisis.
